Lush Lake House

Exciting Naples Outdoor Lighting project

The Bonita Bay Lake House was an incredible project to work on. Having collaborated with the client on three other homes in less than three years, we knew they were seeking a “wow” effect for this home.

Once the landscape plans were completed by their landscape designer, we began creating a lighting design to complement both the new and existing landscape. We started by illuminating the front architecture with over 30 wall washes, perfectly complemented by the eave lights installed in the soffits.

The property featured many mature canopy trees and palms, requiring high-lumen uplights to achieve full canopy illumination. Despite having over 200 lighting fixtures throughout the front and rear landscape, the home does not feel overlit but rather welcoming and well-illuminated.

Contrary to the belief that too many lights can make a property feel over-illuminated, the opposite is often true. Using fewer, brighter lights can create areas of heavy illumination. By using many smaller lights, we can tastefully illuminate and guide you throughout the property.
