The Modern Mediterranean Masterpiece, a stunning estate in Port Royal, Naples, Florida, was meticulously designed by Kukk Architecture and masterfully built by Knauf & Koenig Construction (KKG).
When we first connected with the homeowner, they already had a landscape lighting plan created by their landscape architect. However, they felt it didn’t fully enhance the property’s architecture and outdoor spaces. Actively searching for a new designer, they discovered Beacon through word of mouth, giving us the opportunity to present a more refined, comprehensive lighting vision.
At Light Launch, we believe in crafting custom lighting designs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. For this exceptional estate, we incorporated over 32 distinct landscape lighting fixtures, each carefully selected to create unique lighting effects that elevate the home’s beauty and ambiance.
During our initial on-site consultation at this 12,000+ sq. ft. estate, it was clear the homeowner had a vision for their lighting but wasn’t sure how to bring it to life. As with many of our projects, we guided the conversation with thought-provoking questions about their lifestyle, how they use their home, and their architectural preferences—ensuring our design aligned perfectly with their needs.
Following the consultation, Beacon quickly developed a comprehensive outdoor lighting plan, incorporating landscape, architectural, pathway, dock, and aquatic lighting, along with custom decorative copper lanterns handcrafted by CopperSmith.
Like many of our clients, this homeowner wanted tunability, so we integrated adjustable Kelvin temperatures and lumen output for the wall washes across the front of the home—allowing for complete control over ambiance and brightness.
